Veneers are porcelain or composite facings that are cemented to the front surface of your teeth to make your smile appear even in shape and colour and symmetrical.

They are the treatment of choice when disguising discoloured, chipped and cracked teeth.

Chipped and discoloured teeth can affect a person’s smile and confidence.

The latest porcelain or ceramics materials we use are incredibly strong and natural looking. Our technicians are able to recreate features and characteristics in the veneers to make them look natural.

Unlike previous feldspathic porcelain where the colour would become plain and dull after many years, the latest Emax or pressed porcelain are very colour stable in the long term.

Veneers do require tooth preparation and in most cases a minimal 0.5-1mm would be removed to create space for the veneer.

To create the best results, we will take a series of photographs and moulds so we can translate to our technicians the details we want. In particularly complex teeth matching we would invite you to meet our technician to ensure we achieve the best possible result.

The veneers are bonded to your teeth and if well looked after and maintained can have a longevity of 10-15 years.

We recommend our patients who have veneers to regularly attend their dentist  and hygienist for maintenance and reviews.
